And a goodmorning to you too.

Kind of? So I am not feeling so well today, so I expect to sleep in a little and chill. Not in Tipsy's case. I let her out and its a no hold spar. She is racing around my room digging her nails into the carpet for maximum grip as she whips around the turns, knocking into her ceramic bowl forcing the contents to fly. And then theres me. I am the next target. She jumps on my bed... not daintily by any means. And she scrambles to my head and sits on my hair. Then she proceeds to lick my head and sniff my forehead with her wet chin (she drank water to hydrate herself to go on with this little shenanigan) and then she jumps off with feet in my face. She repeats this a good 5 times. What I would give to have that energy right now.

Get Out of My Biz!

I know another, 3 in one day I am on a roll!!

Anyways, I just thought it was funny and rather annoying. I was cleaning Tipsy's cage and she decided that what I was doing seemed MUCH cooler than what she was doing and decided to come over, jump in the cage, take the pooper scooper and flip the contents out. I mean its so funny I couldnt help but laugh, but its not so funny when its on my floor. But then she looks at me and I cant help but smile and think, oh you silly little girl.
Then I go to her litter box... same thing. Except she didnt flip the scooper this time... she just sat in her box. Almost like a protest... "No! I want my box dirrrrrrty!" Gah, I love this bun.

Weekend at Granny's

Before I start, this video was taken at my university's farm grounds, just having a good day in the sun and grass!!

So last weekend was a trip to granny's!! Well, Tipsy's granny, my mom. She has been to my sister's house before, but not my parents... a house filled with dangerous creatures! A Great Dane, a Labrador mix, and a HUGE cat. After the 2 hour trip of Tipsy just sleeping, we get there and she fits in just fine, so long as all the big dogs are outside. My sister eventually brings over her dogs and the party begins. Breakfast with the crazies!! We had 2 French Bulldogs playing rough house, a Australian Shepherd mix begging for attention, and a rabbit running around the "island counter." All of this happening just in the kitchen. Just mayhem. So as it turns to the afternoon, I brought Tipsy over to my sister's house... she has a big backyard fit for a rabbit!! Tipsy loves running up and down the fence line in the dirt, eating the little rogue pieces of grass my brother in law didnt mow, and playing chase with Pearl the Frenchie. There's also chickens back there! She doesnt care, she just barrels through them! I love watching her do it too haha. She just hops into the horde of chickens and they all flap their wings and cluck at her as if to say "Pardon me!" In my head, they are saying it in British accents, for some reason. We head back to my parent's house to UNLEASH THE JINXI! Thats the huge cat. She stalked her forever! Not in a "I am going to get you" kind of way, more like "you arent a cat, you arent a dog, so what are you? I will follow you to study your movements and make an assessment of my own" kind of way. Eventually she got bored and curled up on the couch and didnt care, until Tipsy jumped on her hahaha, good times.

(oh lordy, she pooped on the ground and flopped in it)

So next weeked is Thanksgiving!!! And we are going back to my parent's! And I intend on using their nice camera to make some new videos and take some really sweet pictures of Tipsy so I can post them on here!!!

Oh no...

So tonight just scared the crap out of me... my little Tipsy was playing around my room and there was a water bottle on the top of my desk, it has a rather heavy top on it. She was doing her little binkies around my room and she popped into the desk and caused the water bottle to tumble down onto her little head. She stopped there and looked around, seemed ok. But then a few seconds later, she started looking up, down, and around, continuously... up, down, around, up down, around, like she was following a bird flying in circles. Thats when I knew she was hit pretty bad. So I go to hold her and see that she is alright, and she is hopping disoriented like. I grab her and hold her still and wait a few minutes just to make sure she is alright. I let her go to see if she hops fine, which she was, and I even gave her some lettuce which she ate readily... and in a matter of minutes she is back to herself. I was scared to death, I didnt know what to do!!! I figure she is alright and does not need to see a vet, its been many hours since her little bump and she has been acting completely normal... sleeping, eating, drinking, binkying, chewing :-\ and jumping up on my chest while I nap.

Bunny, its cold outside!

Ok I know, hiatus so early in the blog! I am sorry. Its all about the life of a college student. So where was I... ok so I got Tipsy a baby gate... that was just great. So I set up the gate in front of my closet and I got everythin in order and played with her in there and she was enjoying herself and hamming it up, then I stepped out and it was like her world came crashing in. She did not want me to leave!! Those slits could and could not contain her! She was able to fit her head and her feet through the bars and I was worried she was going to fit her shoulders and then get stuck. My boyfriend assured she would figure out that she cant get through and call it quits... does he know a bunny? Puh leaz. I stayed there watching her intently seeing what she can do, then sure enough, I was right. There she goes, she wriggled her shoulders right through and got stuck! So I ran to my baby and pushed her out and I wanted to call it quits but James, my boyfriend, was so set on trying this out. So we put the box it come in in front, a towel wrapped in and out of the slits, and another box on the other side to block her from trying to put her head through. After a night of partying I come back to find... no bunny in the closet! I see there is a giant box 5 feet from the gate entrance, the towel used as a "hoister" and the other box was just a platform. I turn around to see my bun staring at me as if she was asking, "Do you like it?"
Anyways, fast forward a week, and its 50 degrees out and I am freezing in my 60 degree apartment while my bun is toasty warm in her nice warm fur all bundled up. Jerk. No more baby gate, returned that and went on Craigs to get a oversized cage for 30 bucks. Right on! But eventually I am going to have to upgrade with her impending size. Problem when you adopt a rabbit on a whim, AND THEN research the breed... Whoops! Oh well, she has turned out to be quite an awesome bunny. Though, I would have never, myself, chosen albino (I admit, white can be plain, and the red eyes did creep me out at first), but once you get to know her, you tend to forget her color. I am getting sappy and way off track here! Point is, its cold. That is the title of this here blog. I havent been able to take her out to the UA lawn... BTW, she loves going out to the grassy lawn of my university! People pass by and gawk at her and take pictures and pet her. She gets VERY upset if people pass by and dont pet her... she will sternly hop towards the, cut them off, and look at them like, "Excuse me, but here I am." And the people that do pet her are extremely surprised to find out she is so friendly! She hops over, rests her head on the ground and is ready for pets! Such a great bun.
Here is a video I took of her... I took an awesome video of her before this. When she does something really cute I grab my camera, then she stops doing it!! Its so frustrating! But then I got a really good one and then what did I do? Instead of clipping a boring part out, I clipped everything out except the boring part!!!! AHH!! But here is one that I did catch.
